Tucked & Torned

Tucked in my heart,

I tried to bury the past,

An aeon has passed, but you still lie in the deepest corner of my heart,

You are still there in my eyes but faded when I smiled,

You are still pinned up on my messages,    I re read religiously,

You are there in that dried up rose, whose impression from my book never goes,

You are still there in my midnight cup of tea, with whom I share my deepest plea,

You are there in that silent tear that passes through my cheeks and make a silent prayer,

I tried and tried hard to win over my heart,

But my love,

You are still there in that promises I made to myself that will never sell down the river.

when a story or poem talks about those moments which perfectly matches with vast popularity(which are very common) and when someone expresses those with beautiful words then the piece of writing becomes more attractive and you do it so perfectly.
Its always a pleasure to feature your post in my blog.
